Procedure Step Manager

The Procedure Step Manager module allows you to design complex Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions for all your processes. Include instructions, data entry and electronic signatures to guide your operators through their manual or validated process.

Step Creation
Steps may be created for any operation in a process. A step may include instructions, process control steps, forms, data entry, SPC collection and electronic signatures.

Step Execution
Operators are presented with an interface listing the steps required for their operation. They must complete each step in sequence including all actions before the operation can be ended.

Audit Trail
A complete audit of users, times and data for each step is maintained to create a detailed as-built history for each product.

Visibility
View the status of each step including step times, data entered and operator sign-offs.

Reports
Reports include:

• Step Certifications by Work Order

Definition

• Create a predefined sequence of numbered steps
• Include instructions, data entry, forms and SPC links
• Include drawing or multimedia files for any step
• Define steps within step groups to be run in series or parallel
• Define which step requires a supervisor's electronic signature
• Give operators the ability to bypass a step
• Exclude specific machines from running a step
• Define a standard step time
• Define whether a step is completed by the operator, a process value or elapsed time

Operation

• Collect quality data at each step, for each lot or serial number
• Call an external form or SPC program and pass job parameters
• Provide electronic sign off by both operator and supervisors
• Capture step Start and End times and duration
• Authorized supervisors can edit step history with a full audit trail of any change
• Extend steps with optional Certification Module to define which specific people can execute or signoff which steps
• Integrate the Steps Manager module with your document management and plant control systems
