Production Manager
The Production Manager module is the core Wonderware Factelligence® Manufacturing Execution System (MES) module. It is used to record the production of finished goods, scrap, tracking of serial numbers and system security.
An unlimited number of reject or scrap reasons provide extensive process improvement opportunities.
Dynamic Scheduling
With live shop floor feedback, production planners have the information they need to adjust the schedule according to actual plant results.
Visibility
Finished production and scrap are recorded against each order, shift, lot number and entity, and is made available to everybody in the enterprise via our standard web infrastructure. Shop floor operators have instant visibility of any schedule changes and execute production orders according to a timely plan.
Items
Define unlimited Items and group them into Item Classes that share common waste reasons and attributes. Track your items every step of the production process.
Entities
Define and group as many machines, cells and areas as needed to track production and other important equipment metrics.
Security
As the core Wonderware Factelligence module, the Production Manager also manages system security. Define configuration and operation privileges to unlimited numbers of User Groups and Users.
Email
Create an email account for users that are either Factelligence managed or incorporated into standard corporate POP 3 and SMTP mail systems. This enables problems and alerts to be sent to key staff for quick action and coordination.
Integration
Using the optional Supply Chain Connector module, the schedule can be electronically synchronized with the master schedule in your ERP. This reduces delays and errors in providing plans to operations as well as providing more accurate and timely production data back to the ERP.
