Labor Manager
The Labor Manager module establishes job parameters and enables the definition of labor requirements for each job. It records labor consumption for all jobs and shifts, as well as the present operator location and activity.
Labor Definition
Group your operators into labor departments (or cost centers) and define fixed and variable labor requirements to complete each operation.
Labor Recording
Record time spent on each job, each shift and at each piece of equipment by any number of user defined labor categories and departments. This includes apportioning of labor across multiple machines and jobs.
Visibility
View real-time status of which users are logged into the system, where they are working and on what jobs.
Reports
Reports include:
- Labor time per Category
- Labor time per Users, Work Order, Shift
- Labor Variance

- Record Log-On time and Log-Off time for each user
- Group operators by Category and Department for sharing common labor capabilities
- Record equipment used and operations worked on for each user
- Track multiple operators per machine
- Manage multiple machines with one operator
- Split labor time over multiple machines when multiple operators are used
- Manage any machine from any operator computer location
- Labor time can be categorized as fixed time for activities such as setup or variable time for production activities
- Labor time can be recorded as direct or indirect
- Assign hourly costs to each user
- Link labor categories to machine utilization reasons
- Track which operators worked on a specific serialized part or lot number
- Track which operator executed each step in the optional Procedure Step Manager
