DNC Manager
The Wonderware Factelligence® DNC Manager is the latest Wonderware DNC product in a long line of state-of-the-art reliable DNC solutions. This multitasking DNC program offers the power to network up to 256 CNC machines per server.
This user-friendly DNC solution makes machine tool networking and communication simple so you can easily track part programs and use your time more effectively.
Upload & Download Directories
Configure an unlimited amount of download directories for each CNC machine. Each machine will have a specified upload directory to allow review of all uploaded files. This allows tight control over all programs to track changes made to files on the shop floor. Automatic compare and archiving functions are also included.
Edit & File Compare
Side-by-side file comparisons allows checking for changes made to a part program. The system can be configured to automatically inform a manager when a change has been made to an uploaded file. The compare feature displays where and how the part programs are different. The Wonderware Editor contains math functions, search and replace, cut and paste, and undo/redo to allow for easy modification of files. Advanced features such as the spindle speed and feed rate adjustment dial are also included.
Drip Feed Capability
Drip feed or spoon feed large program files to multiple CNC controls simultaneously.
CNC Direct or Remote Request
Operators can initiate commands direct from the CNC control. This eliminates the need to walk back and forth between a PC and the machine tool. Operators will be able to send, receive, DNC and get a directory listing of their CNC programs directly from the control.
Activity Logs
Track file transfer activity by date and CNC machine. The log indicates the date, time, CNC machine, operator, file path and the type of transfer that occurred.
Multi-Tiered Security
User names and passwords are included to control access to DNC files and information. This security can be set up in several levels to limit configuration options to key personnel allowing data integrity to be maintained.

Send and restart functions give the operator the ability to send from any point in a file, specified by line number, block number or tool change — including remotely with remote request.
Standard Protocols
Standard conversational protocols include Mazatrol, Fanuc A, Sharnoa, X-modem, Okuma, Kermit, Bridgeport and more. DNC Manager also offers the ability to create your own protocols.

Ethernet Based Hardware
Comtrol's Serial LAN Hubs and DeviceMaster product line allow your DNC serial ports to reside outside the server. This keeps your server in a secure back office location while your serial ports reside on the shop floor. The Hubs come in the following sizes: 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16-Port.

Wireless Hardware
Wonderware offers a Wireless DNC option to provide manufacturers with many advantages including the flexibility to move machines and avoid clearance issues. Wireless DNC consists of wireless access points that are connected to an existing Ethernet network. The Access Points distribute data to and from a network to wireless RS-232 adapters on each CNC machine. The RS-232 adapters on each machine convert incoming NC programs from Ethernet data into RS232 signals for input into the CNC's serial port.
