PCI Card Configurations

In this example a 16-port PCI card is physically installed into an available PCI slot on the computer. This PCI card adds 12 COM ports to the computer and is connected to a 16-port interface box. The interface box resides outside the computer but must remain within 20 feet. An RS232 cable will be run from each CNC control's serial port back to the interface box. The cable will be connected to the DB25 ports on the interface box.

PCI hardware and software bundles are offered in 4-port, 8-port, 16-port and 32-port systems.
